Shane Strubhart
Shane Strubhart is the Director of Public Relations and Community Engagement at the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District.
Before joining the district, he began his career as a Computer Technician at the Office of the Attorney General and Dell Computer Corporation. He then went on to serve as a teacher at HCISD. Working with students in the classroom, he taught them the ins and outs of CISCO networking and computer maintenance. After receiving his Master’s in Educational Leadership in 2007 he served as assistant principal at Harlingen High School South before joining the Senior Staff team at HCISD as director for PR/Community Engagement in 2010. Shane holds an internetworking degree from TSTC, Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Technology and a Master’s of Educational Leadership from the University of Texas, Brownsville. He is married to Amy Strubhart and has three children, Aaron (A&M Kingsville), Tristan (A&M College Station) and Alexa (Future Aggie), all products of HCISD.
