I received this email from Carla Rank regarding the results of the AGM for the Rotaract Club of Macquarie Ryde. We wish all the outgoing members of the Rotaract club of Macquarie- Ryde all the very best for the future. We look forward to working with those who are interested in reviving the club at Macquarie University and hope they have a great response from the University students in their endeavour to start the new Rotaract club.
Dear Friends of Rotaract
It is with regret we inform you of the closure of the Rotaract Club of Macquarie-Ryde. However, this is not necessarily the end of a Rotaract Club in the Macquarie area.
Unfortunately, Secretary - Lachlan Hutchinson; Treasurer- Ricky Leong; Vice President - Steph Long; and myself, are unable to continue on as the board for the coming year. Accordingly a vote was proposed a passed unanimously at our meeting on 14/5/19 to close the Rotaract Club of Macquarie-Ryde.
At this meeting there were 4 individuals who voiced interest in reviving a club at Macquarie University. The existing board offered ongoing support and guidance to these 4 in their endeavours to revive a new club.

I appreciate the support all clubs and individuals have offered over the past year.
