Find beauty not only in the thing itself but in the pattern of the shadows, the light and dark which that thing provides.

A computer glitch during today’s Zoom meeting lead to some hair being torn out by frustrated members.

So the first thing to do was to re-boot the computer.

Zoom wouldn’t let you in?

Change your password.

No success?

Download a fresh version of Zoom.

New version of Zoom won’t co-operate with old browser?

Change browser.

Still can't log in?

Ring long-suffering Noel Halford to complain, and the scales fall from our eyes: the meeting password was changed.

The Sergeant-at-Arms will surely allocate a fine or two for all this kerfuffle.

Why not learn something new?

You can develop and practice your communication skills with new courses in the Learning Center (My Rotary login required).

The Develop a Speech course teaches ways to organise a speech that will leave a lasting impression on your audience.

The Deliver a Speech course focuses on the use of body language and the effective use of vocal variety.

These courses, developed exclusively for Rotary members by Toastmasters International, are part of a series on leadership development.

Here’s a reminder from President Tilak about Taverners wine:

When you order Taverners Wine for the club to receive $35 per dozen you need to mention Rotary Hawthorn in the form and a CC copy to Stuart Stockdale ss@spm.net.au as there is no other of keeping a record.

Sorry for the  inconvenience. Please remember Christmas is not far away..

Regards

Tilak

Who actually reads The Bulletin?

Who spotted the “deliberate mistake” in last week’s Bulletin?

ROTERY ZONE 8 VIRTUAL CONFERENCE

Alas, only Noel Halford was sufficiently sharp-eyed.

Take a lolly from the jar, Noel.
