President Charlotte England entertains with the latest club news.

And some "easy listening" musical tips.

David McNamarra, our newest Member, entertained us all by sharing his background, his extensive and interesting career and his love of sport today.  There were many questions and it did feel that we were all very much engaged. Thank you so much David. It is great to see that our Club is able to attract professional people like David and I know that his skills will be called upon in the not too distant future when life gets back to normal.

Thanks must also go to Julie Clark who gave us an update on the Hawthorn Cookery Book Project and Denbigh Richards for his update on the 100th Year Anniversary Project which we are involved in with Glenferrie, Camberwell and Canterbury.  It is good to see that we do have projects in the pipeline.

Twenty-nine members and our guest John Millington from Nhill joined the Zoom meeting today.  I would have to class this turn out as a success even Peter Lugg managed to join in too in his operating clothes. So it just shows that wherever you are it is possible to connect even if its just for a short while.

We could not have run our meeting without the expert guidance of Katrina who kept the meeting running to time.  Thank you Katrina..

My good wishes go to everyone for a safe and happy Easter.

Stay well and see you all on the 21st April for our 'Believe it or Not ......' meeting!

For those who share my interest in music here are a few pieces that I hope you will enjoy!

Rodrigo Fantasia for a Gentleman
Brahms Violin Concerto in D Major Op.77
Astor Piazzolla Libertango
Oscar Peterson (from Oscar Peterson Piano Power) I Got Rhythm and Blue Moon

Kind regards,
Charlotte England
