Charlotte England presented the proposed Rotary Foundation and Club Service program for the next Rotary Year. 
 
We repeat her notes here for your future reference. 
 
Foundation:
1. July, August, September Campaign to encourage members to become a Paul Harris Contributor or EREY (Every Rotarian Every Year) Contributor
2. October Walk for Polio. All Club Members are welcome to be a part of the Hawthorn Team Walk for Polio.  Last year we came second in the district very narrowly to Camberwell.  Let's see what we, as a Club, can do this year! We raised over $9,000.
3. March 2022. Campaign to raise Foundation contributions either by becoming a Paul Harris Contributor or EREY Contributor 
4. TBA The District Conference attendance
 
Fundraising
1.  September to December promotion of the Christmas Fare (Hams, cakes, puddings). This is a major fundraiser for our Club
2.  19th November International Men's Day Lunch. This is a major fundraiser for our Club to be held at Kooyong in the Ballroom from 12.00 p.m.-3.00 p.m. There will be an Auction, Raffle and lunch. This lunch is to raise funds and awareness for Men's mental health and our Club's projects.
3.   13th-14th November Rotary Club of Kew's Garden Design Fest  (volunteers required)
4.    November-December Taverner's Raffle (in conjunction with Taverner's Australia Sporting Charity for deaf, blind, intellectually impaired, indigenous and young girls to play sport and in particular cricket)
 
Fellowship and Social Events
  1. 3rd August Olympic Themed Lunch in celebration of the Tokyo Olympics
  2. 15th August President's Drink Party
  3. 21st September Football Themed Lunch in celebration of the Grand Final at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club
  4. September date TBA Either a Garden visit of Film Night
  5. 5th October Themed Hat Day Lunch  Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club
  6. 8th December Barefoot Bowls Evening at Auburn Bowls Club
  7. 16th December Christmas Dinner at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club
 
2022
  1.  8th February Lunch on the Peninsula at Peter and Charlotte England's home at Moonah Links
  2.  February date TBA Quiz Night
  3. 8th March International Women's Day Lunch at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club
  4. 26th April ANZAC Themed Lunch in celebration of ANZAC Day
  5. 14th May Home Hosting Dinner Parties
  6. 25th June President's Changeover
This is the framework at the present time.  Hopefully we will be able to run all these events across the year.
 
The Special Interest Groups will meet at 6.00pm on the first Monday of the month.
