Hon Jim Lloyd - Prostate Cancer Foundation Austr.

Since January 2020 Jim Lloyd has been working as National Support Group Executive for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. His role requires him to work with the 130 active PCFA support groups around Australia. As a prostate cancer survivor, having experienced both surgery and salvage radiation, Jim is able to relate easily with other prostate cancer survivors and their families. Capable of strong team building and working closely and effectively with other employees. He is an accomplished public speaker with the proven ability to address audiences of all sizes and efficiently answer non-scripted questions from the floor.

From Jan 2015 to Jan 2020 Jim was Advisor for Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. This role required him to facilitate meetings with Federal Ministers and Departmental officers as required and to organise events such as the annual Big Aussie BBQ in Parliament House, which is normally attended by the Prime Minister and many Ministers, Members and Senators. The role also includes conducting presentations to wide range of audiences on Prostate cancer research and awareness.
