Macular Degeneration

Bridgette is an avid reader, gardener, and fisher woman who enjoys channeling her inner actress several times a week when speaking to Rotary and Probus groups through her work as Education and Research Officer with Macular Disease Foundation. She has a background in Indigineous education and previously enjoyed teaching primary students on an island girt by crocodile infested waters in the Northern Territory. She has a passion for community-led social justice, and believes a quality education is an infinitely powerful weapon for overcoming adversity and injustice
