Surfrider Foundation

Surfrider Foundation is a Global environmental non profit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful and activist network.  In Vancouver Surfrider is 100% volunteer by everyday people with different background but the same vision.

We are more than just surfers.  We are a community of beach and ocean enthusiast who share a common vision of healthy and accessible oceans and coastlines, for now and for generation to come.

Yury Kulikov has been with Surfriders since 2014, and currently serves as Events Coordinator. His day job is as a Structural Engineer he helps create ascetically and pleasing and efficient buildings.  He loves the oceans.  Surfing for him is not an extreme sport it is a way for him to connect with the universe.  He believes every human has a responsibility to respect and protect our planet.
