As we know the world is not what is was last week or the week before that, actually in modern times we have never been in this situation. Rotarians are Leaders in the Community and to be such we must Lead. We are meeting this week and future meetings will be discussed probably on a week by week time frame.
But as I said it is time for us to Lead and Leading doesnt always mean advancing sometimes its Leading a retreat so we can fight another day.
To this end for the Benefit of the Community the Nation and All Man Kind some simple rules to follow.
Please under no Circumstance Shake Hands, hug or have any unnessacry contact. Once you have ordered your meal from the bar make you way into the meeting room so we can practice a degree of social distancing.
We will provide hand sanitizer at registration
If you are displaying any symptons or have been over seas in the past 2 weeks please do not attend our meeting.
Bunbury's Population is 33% older then then Metro median age, We also have a 9% above average cancer rate which means we have many vunerable people in our community. As it stand the virus is well contained in WA and by practicing, implementing and Leading through way of adhering to current recomendations we will not end up like much of Europe. As you can imagine these precautions will probalby be in effect for the next 6 months.
May I also remind members that if it wasnt for Rotary and the work we have done with Polio there would be a whole cast of society who would be in alot more danger because of this Virus
Now that being said this weeks speaker is as promised a quality speaker Tessa Litton the WA Fundrasing Coordinator for Camp Quality
