Janelle Papin is the Quality Coordinator for Hawai‘i Health Partners, an entity of Hawai‘i Pacific Health and Hawai‘i’s only Accountable Care Organization (ACO). Previously, Janelle’s work experience included operations of Medicare ACOs and federal programs, health policy research in Washington, D.C., and health insurance enrollment outreach in Washtenaw County, Michigan.
She earned her Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan School of Public Health where she attended on a full-tuition dean’s scholarship. Janelle completed a post-graduate healthcare administration fellowship in population health at Trinity Health, a 93 hospital health system operating in 22 states and based in Livonia, Michigan. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
She currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Foundation of Hawai‘i and as a Board Member for the Salt Lake/Aliamanu/Foster Village Neighborhood Board of the City and County of Honolulu as well as the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Hawai‘i. Janelle is also serves on the Communications Committee of the Hawai‘i-Pacific Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
