On November 17th, we heard from Sachin Latti. His vision is quite simple: "I am going to use my body to make a difference in the world. I've been given the gift of life and along with it, the blessing of good health - why not use this to find a way to give back?"

Sachin has spearheaded an inaugural fundraiser called the Run to Remember  to raise money for first responders. On Sunday Nov 7th 2021, as part of the Run to Remember, he completed a 100km run in under 15 hours from Chilliwack to Vancouver International airport and raised $20,000!

The donations will support the Royal Canadian Legion (The Legion Foundation through the BC/Yukon Command).  All proceeds raised through the Run to Remember will go to the poppy program, which directly benefits Veterans and their families, as well as currently serving members of the Armed Forces and the RCMP.

Sachin felt that there was a gap in funding and support for veterans and first responders, inspiring him to spearhead this inspiring fundraiser. He says he wants to use his physical fitness and power to help others and raise money and he plans on running more marathons to raise money.

Sachin summarized his mission with this quote: "In short, this is my way of making a difference in the world, while at the same time, becoming a better version of myself."
