Dean, Suna, Jacqueline and Raymond visited RYLA South at YMCA's Camp Elphinstone, Langdale on Sunday March 31. RYLA South (Grade 10-12) is one of the three District 5040 Rotary’s leadership training and personal development program for young people.

To their delight, the visitors and students got a visit from his Honor Steven Point (former Lt.Gov of BC) & PDG Bob Blacker. His honor spoke about LEADERSHIP and the power of the 'TALKING STICK' and what it means to FIRST NATIONS. At the end of his presentation he presented District RYLA Chair Linda Rocha with a carved EAGLE FEATHER which will be used for gathering circles of the RYLA participants.
