Our Club has established a long standing relationship with Wildlife Rescue Asociation. The work they do has been incredible on how it makes an positive impact to the community and enviroment. Let's see what the association have been working on over the past year since we last heard from them.

We're excited to have invited Vindi Sekon - Communications Specialist at Wildlife Rescue Association of BC to speak about their activities during th year. 

History:

The Wildlife Rescue Association of BC was established in 1979 to rehabilitate wildlife affected by human activity and provide education to the public on co-existing with urban wildlife.

Today, the Wildlife Rescue runs its wildlife hospital on the south shore of Burnaby Lake and it treats animals from across the Lower Mainland, the rest of BC and further afield.

Our public education and outreach includes a wildlife helpline, the EarthFest community festival, and hundreds of presentations and displays throughout the Lower Mainland.
