Danielle Johnson
Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity

Danielle Johnson joined the staff of Wichita Habitat for Humanity as their executive director in June, succeding Ann Fox who retired after nearly a decade of service. Danielle was previously the assistant director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Wichita State University.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master in Public Administration from Wichita State University. She has provided countless programs and professional development opportunities that have enriched communities through diverse educational, social, and cultural experiences. Danielle serves on several community boards and committees to include; Community Operations Recovery Empowerment Inc. (CORE), Wichita Urban Professionals, Wichita State President’s Diversity Council, Rise Up for Youth, Wichita Branch NAACP, HealthCore Clinic, Kansas Hispanic Education and Development Foundation, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Beta Kappa Omega Chapter, and the State Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board. Danielle has taken courses with Advance Kansas Class VI, Kansas Leadership Center, Young Professionals of Wichita Leadership Academy and Leadership Wichita.

Danielle and her spouse, Vice Mayor Brandon Johnson, are busy with three kids Khairi, Aria, and Arin. When they’re not busy with family life, they are working to create positive tangible changes and a more inclusive and equitable environment in the greater Wichita community.
