Celebration of Suds

The committee is busy preparing for this years Celebration of Suds which will be held on Saturday, October 20th from 7-10 PM at the Pepperell Mill Campus (upstairs from Portland Pie - same as the Rotary Prom event).

What we need from you:  

1.  Help secure additional brewers to donate beer:  We have contacted Run of the Mill, Banded Horn, Funky Bow, Shipyard, Sea Dog, Dirigo, Lone Pine and Gritty's.  Go to http://mainebrewersguild.org/all-brewers/  to see the list of  members of The Maine Brewers Guild - if you know anyone at the brewers we have not contacted please help and contact them.  A brewer that donates beer to the event is a Major Sponsor.  If we know they will donate beer by 9/17 we will try to put their logo on the free glass that we hand out to the attendees.

2.  Sell tickets to the event.  Tickets will be handed out soon.  The price has been raised to $30 but will be available for a $5 discount for tickets purchased before 9/30.  Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite at the following link:

3.  Promote the event.  You will be emailed later this week with a link to the Facebook event page.  Please invite your friends and family and share often.  

4. I have attached the list of sponsor options.  Consider your business being a sponsor or ask friends with businesses to be a sponsor.

5.  We are looking for silent auction items.  

6.  Volunteer.  We will pass around a signup sheet in a few weeks, please sign up for a shift.
