Beach Party!!

 

On Saturday July 6, 2019, a few Rotarians joined friends and family of Woody Beach to celebrate his 90^th Birthday.  While his actual birthday was April 4, the celebration was scheduled for a beautiful Saturday in July at his summer home on Raymond Pond.  The timing was perfect as thunderstorms didn’t roll through until well after the party had ended.

 

 

Family traveled from around the country, including California, New Hampshire, and North Carolina.  A few took advantage of the water, while the rest of us stayed on shore or waded in only up to our ankles.  We were amazed to see just how far Woody swims on those morning laps he tells us about during Happy Dollars.  Out to the buoys and back!  An impressive distance at any age!!

 

 

Congratulations Woody and thank you for your hospitality.  We look forward to the next one.  Maybe at 95???
