The Club welcomed visiting Rotarian Ron Hughes from the Excelsior club and Diane Peterson, Kent's wife. The guest speaker was Jenny Hanson who serves as the Gymnastics coach at the University of Minnesota. Jenny first showed a video about the very successful Women's Athletic Program at the University. She then reviewed the very successful gymnastics program at Minnesota indicated that the team had won 3 of the last five Big Ten Championships and qualified for the National Championship on two occasions. She noted that she currently has 12 full scholarships that she can offer in the gymnastics program. She also showed a video featuring the Minnesota gymnastics team and answered several questions from Club members.
