Join us as we learn about Quakertown Community Outreach
Karen Hammerschmidt will be joining us to tell us about this new community organization. Quakertown Community Outreach (QCO) began as a group of concerned citizens who provided food and care for the ducks and feral cats in Memorial Park. Quickly the focus shifted to the homeless population in our community. Today QCO along with multiple other organizations in and around our surrounding area are working to hard to move our homeless friends and neighbors into housing, while providing food and resources for independence. We continue to work with the Borough of Quakertown on the issue of non-migratory ducks and are working to reduce the number of feral cats through spaying, neutering, and adoption.

RIDE THE LIGHTNING...
Join us on October 11 for dinner and a presentation from John Dancey
John Dancey, a former decorated N.J. State Trooper, business owner and student of motivation and economics, has spent over 25 years studying and talking about PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). His early technical background led him to develop a motivational presentation, which he shared with Vo-tech schools and high schools after his retirement. His talks were so well received that he was asked to speak before business leaders, church youth groups, teachers' groups, veteran groups and others. Among those are AFLAC, Vietnam Vets, MLM organizations, Toastmasters, EPBON, The Enterprise Institute and various other groups.
John's interactive, engaging talks, mix humor with real world situations which invite attendees to THINK and ACT on their own dreams, goals and daily lives. Check out his website at: |
