Welcome to the Quakertown Rotary Website.

Quakertown Rotary is an "Idea in Action." A fellowship of business and professional people who accept the idea of service, individually and collectively, as the basis for success and happiness in business and community life.

Quakertown Rotary members share in the opportunity to serve the community in an organized effort. We believe in giving back to the community from which we have benefited.

Guests, fellow Rotarians, and new members are always welcomed.

Please Join us.

On November 26th the 15th Annual Habitat for Humanity 5K was run. A great time was had by all 110 race participants! We raised $1500 for Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County.
Thank you to all the Rotary, Interact and Habitat for Humanity volunteers for all the help in running the race. Thank you to all that ran the race!  the Race Results can be found HERE. Pictured below is our First place male finisher Matt Martino (17:02). Our first place female winner was Shelby Daugherty (21:29).

Rich Aichele from Keystone Opportunity Center will talk to the club about their "Sleep Out For Hunger and Homelessness" in which they educate over 250 local students on hunger and homelessness in our area.  Their focus this year is on local teen homelessness. In our local community over 925 people struggle with homelessness and 1 in 5 students that attend our schools receive free or reduced lunches.   Each student that Sleeps Out will help to raise funds for fighting hunger and homelessness, and we have set a event fundraising goal of $40,000. Keystone Opportunity Center works toward eliminating homelessness in Upper Montgomery and Bucks counties.

Andy Rumbold will be joining us to tell us about an organization that is dedicated to helping the homeless.

The mission of Least of Our Brothers is to make a difference in the lives of homeless people in Southeastern, Pennsylvania.  In addition to providing much needed food, clothing, and shelter; we provide a moment of humanity to the homeless who are often ignored by society.

The third Tuesday of each month, from 6PM-8PM, the Quakertown Rotary Club works a shift at the Quakertown Food Pantry. This event is open to all Rotarians and their families.

If you are interested in participating please contact Linda at pastorlinda@juno.com.
