This year is the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. It's also the 100th anniversary of the founding of the League of Women Voters. Jo Loss and Janice Friesen will review the Club about these events and update members about the League's important work today.
Jo Loss is the incoming president of the Eden Area League. She has served on the board of education in Castro Valley since 1995. She was also president of the California State PTA.
Janice Friesen served on the board of education in Castro Valley for over 20 years. She has been a part of the League for over 35 years. She is a licensed clinical social worker with an active practice.
