Golf Tournament Raffle: CUB / ICA Food Dash

At the Rotary Annual Charity Golf Tournament, we will hold a raffle drawing for many prizes, including this food dash.  Three persons will be have their names drawn.  Raffle tickets are available for $10 each from any Excelsior Rotarian, and will be available at the Golf Tournament.

The 5th Annual Cub Foods Shorewood Food Dash teams up local mayors with three winners from the Rotary Golf Charity Raffle event to raise money for the ICA Food Shelf with a three minute dash through the aisles from 10-11 am on Tuesday, Oct 12, 2010.  Each of the three contestants has a chance at winning $500 in Cub gift cards (first prize) or $400 (second) and $300 (third prize).

Cub Foods donates the equivalent dollar amount of groceries that are selected by the three combined teams to the ICA Foodshelf.  The two sponsoring Rotary clubs from Excelsior match the Cub Foods' donation.

Shopping Spree Rules:

• The length of the Food Dash is 3 minutes.
• Each pair of Dashers must stay together and with their cart at all times.
• Each pair must visit at least 3 different aisles. Aisles included are 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13 and 14 with the following exceptions: the spice section in aisle 8 and the water filter section in aisle 9.
• As each cart is filled, bring it back to the pair's assigned checkout lane where an empty cart will be available. 
• "Sweeping" of products from the shelf is not allowed.  Items must be picked up and placed into the grocery cart, rather them just sweeping the shelf and allowing the items to fall into the cart. 
• Items dropped need to be picked up if not broken, placed in cart or returned to the appropriate shelf.
• Remember, the dollar amount of all of the products selected and returned to the check out lanes within three minutes will presented by Cub Foods to the ICA Food and matched by the local Excelsior Rotary Clubs
  

The Raffle Winners agree that Cub Foods, SUPERVALU and their respective parent and affiliate companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this sweepstakes.  Except where legally prohibited, the winners grant permission for SUPERVALU and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation.  Taxes on the prizes are solely the responsibility of the winner.  Prizes are not transferable except to the ICA Food Shelf.  No prize or cash substitutes allowed, except at the discretion of the sponsor.
