Lend a Hand at Medshare

This engaging three-hour volunteer sorting session will take place at MedShare in San Leandro. Rotary San Leandro members and non-members are encouraged to sign up on EVENTBRITE. The group capacity is limited to 25 volunteers - so sign up early and plan to attend. If you sign up and are later find out that you are unable to be there, please notify Kim Holland at kimrotary12@gmail.com so that we can re-assign your spot to another volunteer.

VOLUNTEER EVENT INFORMATION
A MedShare staff member will provide an orientation and training on the day’s project at the beginning of the session as well as a tour of our distribution facility

Plan to arrive 10 minutes early. 

Closed-toed shoes are required and volunteers are advised to wear comfortable clothes that they don’t mind getting dirty. The warehouse where we will be working does not have heating and can be cold in the winter so bring layers.

Minors under the age if 18 must bring a signed parent permission form. Minors between the ages of 10-13 must also volunteer with their parent/guardian. 

Volunteers are encouraged to carpool, but there is plenty of free parking in front and on the side of the building. Come in thru the door marked “Volunteer Center" which is on the left side when facing the building. 

Water, coffee and tea will be provided in the Volunteer Center. Volunteers are welcome to bring snacks or a brown bag lunch.
