Reflections on Wednesday 26 October

Dr Greg McDonald was the most amazing speaker at our Rotary meeting Wednesday night. What an extraordinary Emergency Department specialist and humanitarian!! 

We wondered about the title of his talk "Emergency Department Fun or Profit", but quickly came to understand the reality that working in an emergency hospital is never fun and certainly not for financial profit. The serious side of working in the Emergency Department of a large private hospital became clear, so too did the enormous level of commitment, expertise and experience this man brings to the culture of the SAN and all that work with him. What a gem of a gentleman!
