Last week we had a very successful club assembly! 15 members attended which was 71% of our club! Thank you everyone for making it a success. Here were the items discussed:
Concession Stand Work Days: We will be working on the concession stand on September 8th from 9am-12pm, but depending on schedules and weather, I'm open to staying longer. This is the day DG, Julie O'Hara will be attending, so I hope to have a good turn out. Additionally, Tom P. will be working the afternoon of September 12th on the drop-down doors beginning approximately noon. This work day is more flexible so members are welcomed to come and help when they are available. There will be plenty of work to do, so please come help if you're able.
Youth Cabin Concert: The youth cabin is hosting a concert on September 15th. Tom P. is asking for Rotary's help to make it go smoothly. There will be a sign up sheet for two shifts that evening. More details to come on what is required.
September 11: As a club we agreed to host a police and fire department "appreciation event". I'll be in contact with the fire department and police chief to see what we'd like to do. It will be a busy few weeks, but I know we can do it!
Committees: lastly we all got together in our committees and discussed how to achieve our club goals. Thank you for your help, everyone!
