Crossroads Lunch

We have a limited number of positions to fill. I think that 6 volunteers are needed at any given time starting at 11:30 and we are out the door by 2:00ish. If you want to come and just say hello, all are welcome! Crossroads is located at 2424 West Grand Boulevard, approximately 1 mile west of the lodge freeway.

Mission Statement: The purpose of Crossroads is to care for any person in need by providing counseling, advocacy and material assistance when possible and appropriate, and responding to other human needs in the community as we are enabled to do so.

The lunch program helps feed the school children in Detroit when school is out for summer. For some of the children this might be the only meal they have that day. The lunch programs run for 10 weeks with our club hosting 3 of these meals. We will serve anywhere from 80 to over 100 meals each time between 12: 00 and 2:00.
