AG JJ Jacobs gave us the delightful news at the Conference that 13 clubs already achieved their
citations. And as at the 26 May 2018 we now have 16 (27,5%) Clubs that have achieved the Rotary Citation.

As can be seen there is a number of Clubs who only need to achieve a few more goals to achieve the
Citation, most notably :-
Clubs Requiring 1 Goal: RC Constantia; RC Durbanville and RC Table Bay
Clubs Requiring 2 Goals: RC Melkbos; RC Oostenberg; RC Plettenberg Bay
Clubs Requiring 3 Goals: RC Goodwood; RC Kirstenbosch and RC Wynberg
Many clubs actually have already achieved the goals and it is down to the Administrative Task of recording it at Rotary Club Central.

Many clubs actually have already achieved the goals and it is down to the Administrative Task of recording it at Rotary Club Central.
This task need not take more than two hours but it does require that the President or Secretary be registered on “My Rotary” and has the information of the Club at hand.
As the vast majority achieved the first Compulsory Goal of pay their Rotary Dues on time it means that with just a little effort so many could still achieve the Citation by the due date of 30 June.
To this end JJ is available to assist AG’s and their Clubs to achieve the Citation if they believe they have fulfilled the requirements.

This will allow you to see where our efforts could be focused in achieving my wish as DG that our District attain the goal of 80% participation and attainment for 2017-18.
