Rotary Club of Tygerberg Donates Trees to Camphill

In response to a call from the International President of Rotary for all 1.2m members to plant a tree, The Rotary Club of Tygerberg donated 16 trees to Camphill Farm Community in Hermanus.

This venue provides a home and occupation for people with intellectual disabilities. The venue was chosen because of the severe water restrictions in Cape Town.
On Saturday 7 April, 6 Rotarians travelled to Hermanus for an official tree planting ceremony, being welcomed by members of the Rotary Club of Hermanus and residents and staff of Camphill.
