World War II Veteran Fighter Pilot and member of the Rotary Club of Meyerstown ELCO, Bob Brocklehurst took flight again at the age of 96! He was featured in a nice tribute on ABC news earlier this year. Now, at the age of 97 and proud of his 36 years of perfect Rotary attendance before he accepted the “senior active” status, Bob graciously agreed to take a selfie with me and allowed me to share his story. It was quite an honor to shake his hand and thank him for his service. How lucky are we, as Rotarians, to have opportunities to get to know people from so many generations who are connected through Service Above Self?! God Speed, Bob!
