Bortfield Funeral Service Honor Guard

Service Information for Richard Bortfield from his daughter, Lani.

PLEASE WE NEED A RESPONSE FROM YOU, yes or no!!!   It would be embarrassing to attempt an Honor Guard if there will be only a few attendees.  We will confirm before this date if we will be having an Honor Guard, based on your responses.  We will be attempting the Honor Guard for Sat 7/18 (there is also a service on Fri)

I just wanted to let you know the plans for Dad's memorials. There will be:

        a service at the Mass. Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Fri. July 17 at 1 pm and

        a memorial service at his church, Agawam Congregational Church at 745 Main St., the next day, Sat. July 18 at 11 am followed by a lunch buffet.  

After the buffet you are welcome to come back to our new house at 20 Wilstar Circle, Enfield 06082 to get the tour.  It's a lovely location with stairs down the drop-off in back which lead down to hiking trails (wear closed-toe shoes, long socks & pants if you want to hike - lots of poison ivy) and conservation land.  We're about 1 mile from the Scantic River in Hazardville - it's so quiet at night!
