Edina Rotary held the fall Adopt-a-Park Day Sunday, Oct. 21. Chair Tom Cook and fellow Rotarians gathered to clean up Wooddale and Utley Parks in Edina. Thanks to all who volunteered, including Katy Campbell, Hannelore Brucker, David Clynes and Axel Steuer.

Many hands make light work!

The Rotary Club of Edina serves the community by caring for these local parks with clean-up activities in the fall and spring. We could use 6 to 10 members willing to come out for an hour or 90 minutes to do light clean up in the parks at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21. Members are encouraged to bring along family members to help with the clean up!

Benefits include fresh air, great company and the all-around good feeling you get when making our city a more beautiful place. Meet on Sunday afternoon at the southwest corner of Wooddale Avenue and 50th Street, across from St. Stephen's Church. Parking is available in city lots on either side of 50th Street.

Register online so we know we have enough volunteers!
