Jun. 06, 2015 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
We will need 6-8 people on Saturday to prep the ribs for rib fest. Not too tough - we open the cases, rinse ribs, trim, sprinkle with Clark's secret rub seasoning, bag them and pack them in coolers. In past years we have been able to complete the task in about an hour and a half or so. This activity takes place in the Kitchen at St. Hubert's Catholic Church, 8201 Main Street, Chanhassen. |

International Village Clinic-rural India
Oct. 15, 2015
It’s an amazing story of a health clinic in India that was started after the American founder’s visit with Mother Teresa in Calcutta. Then in 2002 he went back to the village he was raised and started the International Village Clinic (IVC). His goal was to prevent children from needlessly going blind as early as five. His success in these rural villages is inspiring |

eremiah Program offers one of the nation’s most successful strategies for transforming families from poverty to prosperity two generations at a time. Jeremiah prepares determined single mothers to excel in the workforce, readies their children to succeed in school, and reduces generational dependence on public assistance. Jeremiah’s proven, holistic approach begins with establishing a supportive community for determined single mothers to pursue a career-track college education. Through a combination of quality early childhood education, a safe and affordable place to live, and empowerment and life skills training, their families are stabilized and able to find a path out of poverty. Jeremiah Program is headquartered in Minneapolis. The organization has two fully operational sites—in Minneapolis and St. Paul—that serve 300 women and children annually. Housing for four families opened in Austin, TX, in fall 2013, and ground will be broken in late 2015 on an expanded campus to serve 35 families. In addition, Jeremiah is conducting pilot programs with Endicott College in Boston, and leaders in Fargo, ND–Moorhead, MN, are working to establish a campus in their community. |

For the 4th consecutive year, our club is presenting the Ethics Workshop to sixty Eden Prairie juniors and seniors who have been identified as emerging leaders. This day long workshop, derived in part from the Four-Way Test, is a wonderful way to expose our students to the importance of Ethical behavior, personally and in their future careers. To make this day a success, twelve Rotarians are needed to serve as Table Leaders at the Workshop. Please consider joining us for this enjoyable day. |
