Join us after work for drinks and appetizers to learn about Rotary and to meet some Eden Prairie Noon Rotarians. Our goal is to help you understand how you can impact the community by joining our club and being part of an international organization of over 1.2 million members worldwide. Our motto is "Service Above Self." Guests of the Rotary will get two free beers and delicious appetizers provided by of our good friends at Tavern 4&5. We will be available to discuss our projects, to talk about our fundraisers and to help you understand what we do at our weekly meetings. We will have videos that you can watch and brochures that you can take home to learn more about Rotary. At 6:00 pm, we will have a five minute (promise, no more than 5 minutes) presentation on our club and our activities. Put this event on your calendar today. We look forward to seeing you there. Sign up today for the annual Vocational Ethics Day for Area 3 Rotary Clubs. Eden Prairie always has the best representation from our high school students of any club in the area. This year's event will be held at the Edina Country Club on Thursday, April 23, 2015. It will start at 11:30 am, include lunch, and end around 1:30 pm. This meeting will replace our normal weekly meeting at Bearpath. Please join us for this energizing recognition of the importance of vocational ethics. Our keynote speaker this year is John Rubischko, a convicted white collar criminal, who will share his story from prison to a life of ethical behavior. Sign up today!

It is that time of year again................Time to pick up assorted treasures along Valley View Road. This year the clean up will take place on FRIDAY May 1st beginning at 8:30 am. This is a great way to get in your morning exercise and participate in a Rotary Service project. As always, we will meet at the corner of Baker road and Valley View Road. The entire project should take about an hour and then everyone can head to a local coffee shop to talk about what was found along the road. Please email Gary Gilbertson at GaryGilbertson@earthlink.net to confirm your attendance. Thank you for your participation. Larry the Service Guy

This is the annual Postal Workers Food Drive that provides a HUGE amount of food for the PROP Food Shelf. We have been asked to man a satellite drop off point at Immanuel Lutheran where the mail trucks can off load food into our vehicles and we then transport the food to PROP. It is easy duty - 2-3 people with vans or SUVs are needed. Please let me know if you can help> |

We will need 6-8 people on Saturday to prep the ribs for rib fest. Not too tough - we open the cases, rinse ribs, trim, sprinkle with Clark's secret rub seasoning, bag them and pack them in coolers. In past years we have been able to complete the task in about an hour and a half or so. This activity takes place in the Kitchen at St. Hubert's Catholic Church, 8201 Main Street, Chanhassen. |
