Painted Sky Opera

Rob Glaubitz is one of the founders of Painted Sky Opera as well as the Artistic Director of the opera company. When he isn’t directing opera for Painted Sky Opera, he can be seen at University of Central Oklahoma where he is Assistant Director of the UCO School of Music and Director of UCO Opera, for which he will direct Cosi fan tutte and Michael Ching's Speed Dating Tonight! in their 2018-19 season. Recent directing credits include: Painted Sky Opera – La Traviata, Tosca, La Canterina, Souvenir, The Medium, An Incomplete Education. UCO Opera – Serse, The Tender Land, Martha, The Impresario, Starbird, Amelia Goes to the Ball, The Telephone, The Magic Flute, Hansel and Gretel.  Dr. Glaubitz is passionate about making opera accessible to a wider audience as well as finding new innovative ways to perform opera.
