Taffy Henderson graduated from Southwestern State University in Weatherford, OK in 2006 with a Bachelors in Communications. She also holds an Early Childhood degree from Western Oklahoma State College. She worked in the Public School System for 5 years, before moving on to working for Child Care Resource & Referral for 11 years as a Program Coordinator and Child Care Trainer.

In 2016, when DHS changed infant Safe Sleep regulations for licensed child care providers, she trained hundreds of child care providers in Infant Safe Sleep to help them become compliant. She now works for the Health Department in a “Train the Trainer” capacity, training professionals how to teach Safe Sleep and other topics that contribute to infant mortality.
