Charlie Radman
Farming Today

Charlie Radman is a 4th generation family farmer near Randolph where he raises corn and soybeans using no-till crop production practices. His farm has been in his family for more than 100 years. Charlie also works in the Quality and Food Safety Department at Post Consumer Brands as a Formula Program Manager.

Charlie wants to show what farmers do to protect the land and raise healthy food. He also takes every opportunity to share information and educate consumers about the food they purchase and how it is grown today.

Charlie is a member of the Minnesota Farm Bureau and serves as president of the organization’s Dakota County Board. He is a member of the Rice County Soil Health Group and the Cannon River Watershed Partnership has recognized him as a River Friendly Farmer.

Charlie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in bio-systems and agricultural engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Charlie and his wife, Leah, have two daughters: Katie and Ellen. Leah is a licensed occupational therapist and the Manager of Therapy for a local care center. Charlie and Leah volunteer for their church, coach youth sports and help with the local 4-H club.
