Teacher Recognition Selection

This 60-75 minute session is when we select the 2016 AV Rotary Club Teacher Recognition Award winner.  We have about 100 nomination sheets submitted so far and these will be mailed home to the Rotarians who can attend at the end of this week so you can review the nomination sheets prior to May 23.  3-4 Rotarians, 4-5 AVHS parent site council members, and 3-4 AVHS students will meet on May 23 and make this year’s selection.  AVHS Arts & Activities Director (Bill Blatzheim) will also be there to explain the selection process. Rotary offers a $1,000 check to the winner (or two $500 checks if two AVHS teachers are selected)
