Our Projects

Community Service is an opportunity for every Rotarian to exemplify Service Above Self.  It is the commitment and social responsibility of every Rotarian and every Rotary club, sometimes in conjunction with others, to improve the quality of life for those who live in the community and to serve the public interest.
Keep the Kids Warm
Our annual winter clothing drive keeps the kids at our partner school, Crestridge Elementary School, warm all winter.
Crestridge Pollinator Garden
Serving as an outdoor classroom, elementary school children benefitted from educational opportunities and created environmental awareness while beautifying school grounds.
Heartland Hope Mission Pantry Support
We helped build a stronger community by assisting working poor families in choosing food, clothing and hygiene items bringing hope to people in desperate situations.
Salvation Army Bell Ringing
Having a bell ringer at a kettle can mean more money raised to help those in need in our community.
Salvation Army Winter Night Watch
Winter’s frigid temperatures, along with snow, ice and wind, can make survival a challenge for Omaha’s homeless and near-homeless population. For five nights between December and February, we staff mobile food trucks to make multiple stops across the city to distribute hot meals and beverages, as well as winter coats, gloves, hats, socks and blankets to anyone in need.
Suburban Rotary Car Show

Since 1978, Suburban Rotary of Omaha has given over $500,000 for more than 500 scholarships to help students reach their educational goals. Your attendance, exhibiting, and sponsorship benefits Rotary youth programs in Omaha, Nebraska.  Learn More: rotarycarshow.org
