Each Thursday, during the month of June, Moe Rotarians sought to 'Serve to Change Lives' by volunteering their time to collect food cans in the foyer of Woolworths in Moe.

The cans came rolling in and approximately 1800 cans were donated.

Organiser of the campaign, Rotarian Di Harrison, is very grateful to everyone who donated a can or money to the 'We CAN Do Better' food can collection initiative. "People in our area really care about the welfare of others and we should acknowledge that more often."

Food cans will be packed into hampers and distributed to local families in need by the Gippsland Christian Church Community Care arm which operates a locally-based food relief program.
