This Strange Year is coming to an End!?!

For an Organization as reliant on personal contacts; members, funders, and recipients, Virtual ZOOM Meetings have been socially stressful on all of us. Attempting to read feedback from folks on line is nearly as hard (and unfulfilling) as texts and emails.
But, somehow the Rotary Club of Barberton is making due and looking ahead into the year of 2021.

At this week's meeting, Thursday, December 17th at 8:00AM, our own member, Judge Todd McKenney will inspire us again with a Christmas Message of Hope & Love. Please do all you can to be there for Todd, the Club, and especially YOU and your loved ones.

THANK YOU SHELLY HABEGGER!

On Monday of this week, member Shelly relayed to me four (4) crucial Club event dates for 2021, adding to the realization that the Barberton Rotary Club has great meaning to the Greater Barberton area communities.
Shelly is spearheading and coordinating the following events:

 1. Thursday, March 4th...will be the day for the 4-Way Speech Contest. The participants from Barberton, Coventry and Norton will be presenting their presentations VIRTUALLY at our morning ZOOM meeting. How exactly the voting will take place is still undetermined at this time, however IT CAN BE DONE!

2.  Saturday, April 10th...the District Speech Contest. Again, Shelly will probably be there live to represent us, but this is also a VIRTUAL meeting at this time.

3.  Thursday, April 22nd...Summa Compact Breakfast. This it is hoped will be in-person, however it will depend on the health situation of the Community and its potential participants.

4.  Thursday May 6th...Academic Scholarship Breakfast. Once again we hope to be able to gather in person to present the Scholarships provided through the Club.

Once Again...THANK YOU SHELLY both on behalf of the Club and also for the students these events impact!

Merry Christmas to all!

And, in the words of Tiny Tim, "God Bless Us, Every one!"
