According to traditional Aboriginal mythology, Bunjil (the eagle) is the creator and spiritual leader of the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri peoples, the traditional custodians of the land on which Bunjil Place is being built. Bunjil Place will be the first facility of its kind, bringing together creativity, entertainment and community in a way that is unparalleled in Australia. Emma Bentley (Team Leader of the Bunjil Place Plaza) and Michelle Nichols (Coordinator of Functions and Events Services Bunjil Place) will introduce to the community this wonderful initiative of the City of Casey, discussing the imminent opening, the program of activities, opportunities to use the function centre and more.
