Here’s a bit more information on the way that funds raised through the Brewfest will benefit our greater community. Our goal is simple – to make our community a safer place to live, work and play.

Through Heart Safe, we have:

  • Educated and trained 6300+ people on the emergency treatment of Sudden Cardiac Arrest through the life-saving skills of CPR and the use of AEDs (automated external defibrillators).  This training has been offered free of charge through our members and fundraising efforts.
  • Promoted and assisted with the acquisition of AEDs so more of them are readily available in our community.  To date, we have provided eight AEDs to organizations in our community.  Businesses who have participated in training have purchased an additional 13 AED’s.
  • Helped get AEDs in our community listed on the National AED Registry so their location is available to 911 operators.

Funds raised through the “And the Beat Goes On” Brewfest will help us train more people, provide more AEDs and . . . save more lives

Our work and passion has helped the Plymouth Rotary earn the title of “Heart Safe Plymouth”.

Thank you for your support and help towards building a stronger community.
