EMERY BARKER, Past President gave a history of the life of SCHUY LININGER and then asked for a Moment of Silence. SCHUY passed away Jan. 3, 2019. He was a member of our club since 1947, he was 95 years old. Sympathy Cards were passed around for remembrance for his family.
The Pledge & Song were led by BOB HOPKINS with GARY HIRSCH accompanying at the piano. RICHARD KELEMEN introduced guests and visiting Rotarians.
Today’s Birthday Rotarians are DAVID LOVITT (12/31), EVAN MANNING (1/13), WAYNE PEATE (1/16) & Past President GARY GETHMANN (1/26).
FAY MORSE introduced SARA GAAR EHRENS to the club and STACIA DECKER presented SARA with her Blue Badge.BOBBY LARSON (Sergeant at Arms) conducted the Raffle and went right into the Announcements:
- CHUCK SAWYER – discussed Reading Seed.
- CHUCK SAWYER – reminded members of the Alamos Trip.
- DAVE GALLAHER – Sign up for the Make Way For Books work project this Saturday.
- FONDA INSLEY – Announced and asked everyone to Save the Date: February 9, Skyline Country Club for our Sweetheart Dinner with live music by John McCaleb and his band.
- ANGELA MOORE & DOT KRET – Spoke about The Rotary Vocation Fund of Arizona (TRVFA).

DIANNE CANNON gave an update on Special Projects. JON WANG gave a great History Update with Newspaper Articles going way, way back in our club’s history.
