Also, happy 44th anniversary to President Ken (and Joyce) Colaluca!  (Ken praised Lou Lepry for his 30+ years of work as an educator in the East Greenwich school system.)

-Jodi Gladstone’s son Caleb recently completed his last of his twelve college application essays.

-Ken Colaluca gave five happy bucks for scholarship recipients on hand, noting that ‘our future is in good hands with great kids like these.’

PROGRAM

East Greenwich Rotary Scholarship Fund Recipients

Dave Iannuccilli, East Greenwich Rotary Scholarship Fund President

East Greenwich Rotary Scholarship Fund President Dave Iannuccilli was pleased to once again present to the club a fine group of scholarship recipients.  All 17 awardees this year were young women.  Dave also mentioned that since 1982 the Fund has, including today’s $15,000, awarded over $285,000 to deserving local high school graduates.

Dave had pamphlets on all lunch tables, and he suggested to Rotarians to please keep the Scholarship Fund in mind for both annual charitable contributions as well as when designing wills and estate plans.
