Clubs large and small can offer students ages 15-19 the opportunity to spend next summer with a student from another country – four weeks here and four weeks there!

STEP ONE: Decide how many students your club will sponsor @ $300 each.

STEP TWO: Let your community know that your Rotary Club can make SUMMER YOUTH EXCHANGE happen in your community! Get the word out to local high schools, foreign language teachers, Interact Clubs and local papers – a chance to showcase our “international” side.

Need help getting there? We have brochures, sample press releases, morning school announcements, and even one-one contact with any students & parents interested! Students can apply in December or early January.

Students have recently enjoyed summer exchanges in Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Sweden, Japan, England and Ireland ... and other northern hemisphere countries too! The family is responsible for passport and travel expenses and hosting during the “inbound” half of the summer -- and they must be able to attend our District Orientation Weekend in Rock Falls, March 18-19, 2017. (Note: Orientation dates have changed to Saturday-Sunday March 18-19 for both Long Term and Short Term Outbound Students!)
