The 2017 Pre-PETS is specifically held to help 2017-2018  Rotary  Club Presidents

get the most from their PETS   experience!

 

Friday, February 3, 2017 Renaissance Hotel (formerly the Siena) in Reno, Nevada

2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.         Grants Management Training

To meet Club certification requirements to apply for and receive District or Global Rotary Foundation Grants. (Note that Grants training is specific for each

District; training must be taken within District 5190; online courses not currently available.)

 

6 p.m. to 8 p.m.                    Welcome Reception

Friday Evening                     Hotel or Home Hosting

Hotel rate of $99 at the Renaissance, or home hosting, as available, by Reno/Sparks Rotarians for those traveling to Reno for Pre-PETS and Grant Management Seminar.

Pre-PETS is designed to help you in preparing for your year as Rotary Club President, The best job in Rotary!

Costs: There is no charge to either you or your club to attend Grants Management Training or Pre-PETS. If traveling to attend, you may request your club to pay for or assist with hotel room or transportation costs.

Required Attendance at PETS: Rotary District 5190 is one of nine districts that participates in Far West PETS in San Jose, California. Club Presidents-elect are required by Rotary International to attend PETS, which takes place March 3-5, 2017. You should already have received a registration link for PETS by e-mail. Pre-PETS provides a foundation of information to allow Club Presidents-elect to make the most of the PETS experience and to be ready to be successful and have fun as Club President!
