BI-DISTRICT CONFERENCE GOES VIRTUAL!
This year Rotary Opens Opportunities, this theme is why we want to make this Bi-District as inclusive as possible. We want everybody to attend!
Bi-District Conference is a collaboration of Rotary Clubs from Rotary Districts 5520 and 4110. This conference joins the clubs from Mexico with the clubs from New Mexico-Texas to work on projects. These projects can qualify for Global Grants through Rotary International.
Steps to submit your global grant projects, ideas to promote your projects and information about an array of projects you might be interested in supporting.
October 23-24
- New global grant projects can be submitted from August 24th – September 30th.
- Projects will be uploaded on Facebook page Bi-District September 15th
- Clubs are encouraged to use this platform to show their project information; name, objective, estimated budget, expected outcome, etc. They may upload pictures and videos to showcase their projects.
- Club members will be responsible for monitoring their Facebook page Bi-District 2020 to answer questions other clubs may have and begin getting monetary support commitments from other clubs.
Pre-conference meeting will take place on October 23rd, 6:00 pm-7:00 pm (MST time) via zoom to discuss conference details, review project submissions, and answer questions any club might have.
Bi-District Conference will take place October 24th, 8:00 am-12:00 pm
- Clubs to finalize negotiations and submit agreement information with other clubs via email to mgomez@vitalant.org
- Link for the Zoom meeting will be sent to all D5520 and D4110 clubs.
