Congratulations!The Trustees of The Rotary Foundation (TRF) have awarded a global grant scholarship to Manny Zhang (Sydney, NSW) to study at Columbia Law School for the 2021-22 academic year. The application for a global grant scholarship was submitted by District 9705 and the Rotary Club of New York, and has been approved by The Rotary Foundation. The award is in the amount of US$30,000. Manny will be joining a distinguished group of Rotary scholars striving to make a difference in peacebuilding and conflict prevention.
What are Rotary Global Fellowships?
Global grants are for graduate students studying abroad in one of Rotary’s six causes:
- Promoting peace
- Fighting disease
- Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
- Saving mothers and children
- Supporting education
- Growing local economies
