CLUB PRESENTS CHECK TO YOUTH SOFTBALL LEAGUE
 
 
The Rotary Club of Dover presented a check for $500.00 to Nancy Weik of the Dover Youth Softball Association. Dover Youth Softball League serves players from ages 4 - 16 who are residents of the communities of Dover, Durham, Lee and Madbury, or who are students of a Dover school. They offer recreational yet competitive spring softball focusing on learning fundamentals of the game, as well as a summer season for higher skilled players who desire greater competition and challenges in the game of softball. #doveryouthsoftball #communitygiving #serviceaboveself
 
 
CLUB SUPPORTS TEEN ADVENTURE PROGRAM
 
 
The Rotary Club of Dover presented a check for $1,500 to Stephen Pappajohn of the Dover Police Charities for the Dover Teen Center Adventure Program. Youth programs often can’t do it all on their own. Partnerships with local businesses and other non-profit organizations play a integral role in program quality. PROJECT GRADUATION

The Rotary Club of Dover presented a check for $500.00 to Women’s United for their upcoming Baby Shower. Women’s United’s purpose is in the spirit of a traditional baby shower, United Way’s annual Community Baby Shower is a celebration for new and expectant moms and dads. It’s a time for them to come together, relax, enjoy good food, and make new friends.  Parents have the opportunity to connect with important resources, including maternal and early childhood health services, helping them give their newborns the best possible start to life. There will be activities available for children at the event, allowing moms to focus on getting the most out of all the support available.
