Hello Rotarians of D9685 !
The Opening Night for the inaugural Carlingford Community Art Show was held on Tuesday 24th November, with District Governor David Clark, AG Robert Erskine, Club President Bob O’Shea and Club President-elect Sudhir Mooray announcing the winners of the various categories, as judged by well-known Australian Artist Ken Done. Given this is the first of what we hope will now be an annual event, we were delighted with the number and quality of entries.
With almost 400 quality art works by Australian Artists accepted for exhibition and now available for sale, we seek your support to have a browse through the Art Gallery and find one that brings you joy ! Artists are from NSW, VIC, SA and QLD and all would appreciate making a sale in the rep-up to Christmas after a challenging year. Our club will also earn a commission from the sale which we are donating to two fantastic organisations who provide support services to victims of domestic violence and homicide - Parramatta Mission and Grace’s Place.
