Dear Sir/Madam Hello. I'm based in Cambridge in the UK and I'm a Cambridge Green Badge Guide. I've recently been giving virtual online tours/talks to various rotary clubs across the UK highlighting the "Must-See Street" in Cambridge. I thought an entertaining/informative virtual tour on this famous English university city might be a little unusual and might appeal to your members. I’m wondering if the District would be interested in organising a district event. I'm charging a very small fee (£30), as I realise that rotary clubs are trying to give as much financial assistance as they can to various projects. Some clubs have used my tour/talk as an opportunity to raise funds, while others are simply giving their members a chance to enjoy a virtual tour/talk. Some of the 41 rotary clubs in the UK who have watched this virtual tour include: Jordans and District / Newport Pagnell / Southwell / Altrincham / Chichester / Hythe / Spey Valley / Marlow Thames / Durham / Brookmans Park / Chipping Camden / Halifax / Pontllanfraith / Stainborough / Preston South / Broughty Ferry / Richmond / Hatfield …. I’ve actually given it to 4 rotary clubs in Australia: Gosford / Epping / Chatswood Roseville/ Dural The feedback has been very positive and I'm more than happy to share comments. Below is a link to a YouTube "taster" of the tour (5 minutes). The full tour is usually 35 minutes but a shorter version is possible and I am very happy to take questions at the end. https://youtu.be/r9HYDkAPSwA I’m also attaching a link to my website. https://hiddencambridge.co.uk/ If this sounds interesting to the District, please let me know. Yours sincerely Murray Jacobs
